• GGet RockedI've been asked several times to build a rock climbing/crawling map. In 70+ maps I have only built one called 'Trails and Rocks', all the others were trail maps and logging maps. It is a small map; kept it condensed into a small area. And it isn't easy; might have to tone it down some. I will con...3.3k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• DDelta LoggingYou start the map on the bluff side of a river delta. Just in front of where you start there are three lumber mills, and three ships waiting to be loaded with the lumber. Descend the river bluff, cross the river, make your way through the swamp to the log yard, and bring the logs back to the mill...3.2k downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• CChocolateThe name of the map is in reference to the texture color of the hills; a chocolate color. It is like a dry top soil. It is classified as a rough texture, same as the gravel in the low areas of the map. The map is a logging map but would also be an interesting trail map. In general it isn't a hard...3.2k downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• WWhat goes down, must come upYou start in the center of the map at a high point; the hub of the map with all roads leading to and from the center. Each objective has two separate paths leading to it from the center. 'What goes down, must come up' The challenges of the map is some steep climbs/descents. Some muddy areas. And...3.2k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• AA Cold Day In ItThis is a winter swamp map. Visually it will appear to be a very easy map; able to drive in a straight line from objective to objective, no hills to climb, thin vegetation,... But this is deceptive; the entire map is covered with mud, and you collect the wood from eight scavengers. If you like mu...3.2k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• SSnow Test Trail MapA quick snow map I put together to test my snow mods. It's a simple trail that loops around the map, passing through water several times, and in sight of three ice lakes.3.2k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• BBogging for LogsSmall (10.8mb), wet, sticky, and muddy! I completed it several times to make sure everything worked ok and it took me slightly over an hour each time to go the 5-6kms necessary to complete it. Wasn't muddy or sticky enough to need the winch any but it was slow going.3.1k downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• SSwamp ScavengerBy request I created a swamp scavenger map. If you haven't played a scavenger map; scavengers (manual loaders like kiosks) auto spawn different lengths of wood in them that you go to and load onto your truck. The map is a swamp map with a lot of mud on it. The places free of mud are down the cent...3.1k downloadsupdated 3 y ago
• BBackwood Gravel RoadsA map to try out different textures/materials. The ridges are a rough chocolate texture, the low areas are a tan gravel, and the roads are a light gravel. 1 Garage 3 Truck Slots 1 Fuel Station 1 Log Station 1 Kiosk 3 Lumber Mills Enjoy3.0k downloadsupdated 6 y ago
• WWinter BogThis is a winter version of my Bogging for Logs map. Small map, but challenging because the paths are water with stumps and fallen trees under the surface. You start with three trucks, two are pulling garage trailers. 1 Garage locked 1 Fuel Station 1 Log Station 1 Kiosk 2 Lumber Mills3.0k downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• AAll beach, no oceanThis is a much larger version of 'The Pit' map I posted several days ago. Like with The Pit map there is a garage and fuel area where you start. And four truck slots to add your jeeps, dune buggies, trucks,....2.9k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• TThe PitThe Pit is a sand pit, with the texture of beach sand, where the player can race around in their trucks and jeeps or climb hills. I made a map like this in the past that was friends only where myself and my friends would goof around. I always wanted to make something similar for everyone else. Th...2.9k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• LLakeland TrailGravel trail winding its way through hills and lakes. Both the beginning and ending of the trail are before you at the start. This is a 90sqx90sq map. Not sure what the threshold is for size and needing Dev Tools (spintiresmod). Enjoy...2.8k downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• DDon't Rock the Log TruckI've had the desire for awhile to create a log map with rock obstacles. This is a small map (32x32 - half the size of the largest I can build without spintiresmod) to test the possibilities and boundaries for building a large more diverse map under the same premise. Over the coming days I will tw...2.8k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• PPolar VortexOne of two snow maps I built to try to get the white trees to work (published but couldn't play it)). Changed the trees, and added forest material to get bushes, grass,... to grow and it worked. There is a picture of the map with white trees, and another with some green trees added to break up th...2.8k downloadsupdated 21 mo ago
• MMuddy LoggerThis is a muddier version of my recent map 'Mud'. I added fallen trees and mud chunks to the roads to add traction. Did have stumps in the roads, eliminated most of them. 1 Garage (open) 1 Fuel Station 1 Log Station 1 Kiosk (manual loader) 3 Lumber Mills 4 open truck slots2.7k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• HHill CountryThis is a boost up in extreme hills from my previous map 'Those Hills Have Trees'. The map is more open with areas of clear cuts, with wide dirt roads instead of trails, and several stream crossings. The koisk is close to the log station but away from the road in an open area of the trees. 1 Gara...2.6k downloadsupdated 16 mo ago
• CCrossing the QuagmireInitially the name of the map was 'Confusion Swamp', and then chose Quagmire meaning both swamp and confusion. I named it this because the roads leading into the swamp loop back across themselves, cross each other, branch off into dead ends, don't appear to go in the direction you're wanting to g...2.6k downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• BBogging for Logs #2I have been asked several times to make mud maps. Not knowing what type of mud map to make I made two of them. This is a logging map, the other is a trail map (Coldwell County Mud Trails). This is a small map at 46sqx46sq. Being that small I didn't bother putting any roads on it, you find your ow...2.6k downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• CChocolate HillsI made this map/card with the same textures I used in another map called 'Chocolate'; a dark brown dirt. This map/card is dotted with chocolate hills, with bridges connecting each hill to the next. Overall it isn't a hard map, except for a few spots. The lumber mills, the garage, the log station...2.5k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• OOver the hills and through the forestOne of several small (608x608) maps I plan to build. • IInto The Thick Of ItQuick map I threw together to relearn the basics of map making. It is a flat map with water and mud, a swamp map. I have had requests to add watchpoints to maps. Figured this would be a good one to add them; there are 13 watchpoints. I tried to not get too carried away with the mud, but where the...2.5k downloadsupdated 6 y ago
• DDelta Logging 2This is a remake of an older map I made several years ago. You start on the bluff side of a river where there is a ship port and three lumber mills waiting on you to bring the wood. To get the wood you descend down one of two paths to the river, cross the river, and into a swamp on the far side....2.5k downloadsupdated 6 y ago
• LLotsa LoggingSecond map I've made to relearn map making. This one is a logging map as large as I can make it without using the spintires mod. Has a few mods in it (ships, plants, towers,...) to make sure I remember how to add the needed files to the map. 1 Garage 3 Fuel Stations 5 Lumber Mills 1 Log Station 1...2.4k downloadsupdated 21 mo ago
• SScavenging for LogsThis is a 92sqx92sq map. There are several swamps and river crossings. Outside of these it is mostly long dusty roads. The logs are given to you by scavengers that randomly give different size logs. There aren't roads to the scavengers themselves but the trees are thin to not overwhelm the 2k gam...2.4k downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• OOver the hills and through the riverIn this map there is a ridge line running down the center of the map with a river following it. You start on one side at the garage, on the other side is a log camp and koisk. You have two ways to get there, over the ridge line, or through the river. Over the ridge line requires climbing and desc...2.4k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• GGet Rocked AgainOne year ago I built a similar map called 'Get Rocked'. This map is smaller and has a snow terrain, but with the same level of challenging rock climbing. I initially built this and kept it private some months ago with plans to tweak it and then release it publicly. Didn't get back to it until rec...2.3k downloadsupdated 6 y ago
• RRocky StreamsI quick map I made to check out texture mods. The mod in this one is the stony shorelines of the streams. The map has no roads and thinly vegetated to make for easy navigation around the map. There are three lumber mills, one log station and one koisk. The hard part of the map is finding where to...2.3k downloadsupdated 5 y ago
• SSimply MuddyHaven't made maps in awhile so I made a simple map to remember the basics of map making. It is a fairly small map with three lumber mills a log camp and a kiosk. Small swamp map with scavengers; similar to my previous 'Bogging for Logs #2' map. 1 Garage Unlocked 1 Fuel Station 3 Lumber Mills 5 Scavengers2.2k downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• RRock ShowcaseWhen building trail maps I place all the rocks I plan to use in an area so I can check them out visually and functionally before placing them in the trail. Generally I publish the map privately or friends only until finished. In this case I decided to publish it publicly so everyone can check out...2.2k downloadsupdated 6 y ago
• RRock Creek CrossingI believe I would like to make some number of small maps with some type of adventurous aspect to them. This is a small map (608x608) with a shallow rocky bottomed stream running down the center of the map. The adventurous aspect of it is that there are no roads, along with a rocky stream to cross...2.2k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• CComanche PassComanche Pass is probably the last map I make for awhile using the dark texture I've used on the past few maps I have done. This map is gorges/passes through a steep hill area. There are also several river crossings, over one river and through the other. The low areas has water and mud. 1 Garage...2.1k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• LLakeside ValleysI made a map yesterday to relearn the basics of map making (Simply Muddy); this one kicks it up a bit with lakes, a waterfall, ridge lines, swamps, ships,... It is still a fairly simple map to both make and play. Some slight climbs and descents, long wooden bridges over deep water, some mud,... I...2.0k downloadsupdated 7 y ago
• CCold Autumn DayThis is the second of two maps I built at the same time in an attempt to make a complete winter snow map. The first map is 'Polar Vortex', released it yesterday. The white trees didn't work in either so I changed them up to green trees with snow landscapes. Polar Vortex has grass trails for roads...1.9k downloadsupdated 21 mo ago
• EEye of the SaharaThis is a hill climbing map with a center hub where the fuel station and garage are located with five circular hill rings radiating out from it. On the hub you have the garage and fuel station, from which four roads lead to the log station (kiosk) and three lumber mills. The roads are covered wit...1.8k downloadsupdated 14 mo ago
• MMud DooberMap was built without overlays (premade roads) to make the roads similar to the game's original maps. The roads are wide but rough and muddy. I will be tweaking the mud to get it right... The trees are thin next to the streams but the mud is deep. There isn't any mud in the pines; go through the...1.8k downloadsupdated 22 mo ago
• CCross the TerraceTook the height map from a map I made four years ago, 'Winter Terrace', and created a new map with it. There are several steep climbs getting up to the levels of the terrace, muddy areas where there is water, and the roads are in bad shape. These challenges made it fun to test drive. The biggest...1.7k downloadsupdated 20 mo ago
