The ordnance QF 6Pdr anti tank gun was Britain's primary AT gun during WW2 until the 17Pdr of the firefly came into widespread use. Developed after experiences in North Africa it's introduction it allowed for the 25Pdr guns to return to their original role of standard artillery.
