Im Jahre 1995/1996 kamen 100 weitere MB O405GN nach Berlin diese waren anstatt den 92/93 seit Beginn im neuen Farbschema und nicht in der alten Sandgelb Lackierung. Die O405GN2er sind bis ins Jahr 2012 gefahren bsw. die 1995er Fahrzeuge. Die GN96er O405GN2 Busse wurden schon 2005 ausgemustert.
