The diadem can only be worn in the base game if you are emperor of e_byzantium. This mod makes it also work with e_roman_empire. I do not know whether this is intended or not by Paradox but to me it doesn't make sense that I can't wear the Roman Diadem after taking the decision to restore the Rom...
