一个勇者手持神圣剑和神圣盾进入魔塔营救被魔王抓住的公主。他顺利通过了第一层和第二层。但是在第三层遭到了魔王的埋伏，神圣剑和神圣盾被拿走，勇者也被扔进了二楼的监狱。幸好同一监房的小偷挖开了墙壁，二人逃出监狱。 能力几乎归零的勇者在魔塔内打怪练级，一层层向上推。他打败了10层的骷髅队长，在小偷的帮助下绕过15层的大章鱼，拿着从19层找到的十字架打败了20层的吸血鬼，走到32层又被骄傲自大的骑士队长袭击。勇者救出被抓住的小偷，小偷为了感谢他在35层挖出了绕过魔龙的密道。之后在40层打败了骑士队长和他的骑士军团然后在42层看见骑士队长被魔王抹杀。勇者一路过关斩将，利用飞行器来到隐藏空间44层，用...
