三藩之乱
清廷入关后为对付南明和其他反清势力的反抗，封云南的吴三桂、广东的尚可喜、福建的耿精忠为藩王。1673年（康熙十二年）春，康熙帝作出撤藩的决定。吴三桂首先于这年11月杀云南巡抚朱国治，自称天下都招讨兵马大元帅，提出“兴明讨虏”，将矛头指向朝廷。吴三桂军由云、贵而开进湖南，几乎占据湖南全省。进而占据四川，四川官员纷纷投降。福建、广东、广西、陕西、湖北、河南还有台湾的明郑等地都有汉官、汉兵和少数民族上层人士，一些地区的农民、奴仆都迅速响应。
