田中决定在某一天去拜访许久未见的亲戚高桥，作为见面礼，田中买了高桥最喜欢吃的羊羹。 田中来到高桥家后，高桥热情地迎接了他，并收下了田中的礼物。 吃完晚饭后，田中决定和高桥一起分享他买来的羊羹，结果发现里面却是草莓蛋糕，田中解释可能是当时店里客人太多，店员把田中买的东西和其它客人搞混了，但这时候再想把东西交换回来也没有必要，于是两人还是把草莓蛋糕享用完毕了。 然而从那一晚，田中再也没有从高桥家里出来，过了好几天才被人发现死在了高桥家里。
