- Community AnnouncementsJumping Jax v0.7.0 Patch NotesThe last couple months we have spent a massive amount of time on the visuals of Jumping Jax. This patch is the first taste of what we have been working on. Much of the levels, lighting, and textures may have issues as we are in the process of finalizing everything. However, feedback from the Discord made us feel confident this was the right decision. As always, join the discord if you have any...
- Community AnnouncementsJumping Jax 1.0.6This month we focused on level design and integrating our art direction with the level pipeline. So, the updates to the code were quite minimal this time around. We did want to apologize, however. Last month we were informed of a bug that prevents the leaderboards from functioning properly. We have been in contact with Steam trying to get this fixed, however their responses have been slowed, an...
- Community AnnouncementsJumping Jax March community UpdateHello everyone! I am sure some of you noticed there was not a monthly update in March. We wanted to take the time to explain why, and what we are working on! Over the last month our team has grown massively. A lot of our time has gone into onboarding new team members. We have increased our bandwidth for modeling, textures, and dev work. So, while we are a bit slow right now, in the coming month...
- Community AnnouncementsJumping Jax patch 1.0.5This month we worked on a combination of new features and making the game more stable. A large focus this month was performance and stabilization. We added tons of debugging. Most importantly, the Ghost Replays have been reworked and are much more intuitive. As per usual, we have some level updates that will clear the level leaderboards. We will likely continue to have leaderboard resets nearly...
- Community AnnouncementsPatch 1.0.4: Physics and Visual UpdateThis patch we focused on 2 major features: a rework of the physics system all new visual design The old physics system was fragile, and the underlying Unity code it used wasn't well documented for edge cases. So, the outcome is a more robust player controller that can handle stairs, ramps, and whatever level designers can throw at it (hopefully). The old visuals of Jumping Jax just weren't good...
- Community AnnouncementsHotfix 1.0.3, Our commitment to youHello everyone, Sabien from Caos Creations here. I wanted to apologize to everyone for my lack of patience when creating the 1.0.2 release. I have been working on Caos Creations' other game for a couple weeks and haven't been progressing as fast as I would like, so I got antsy. Our commitment to our players So, my commitment to everyone playing this game so far: I am instating a monthly release...

Why Jumping Jax mods break
A mod is compiled against one version of a game. When the game updates, anything that reached into the parts that moved stops working, and it usually stops working silently rather than with a message that explains itself.
That is what the table above counts. It is not a guess: each row is a mod the community has reported as broken by that specific release. The number is a fair measure of how disruptive an update was, and it is the reason people delay updating a game they have modded heavily.
Common questions
Does IndexGG host Jumping Jax mods?
No, and it never will. Every download link points at the author's own page on Nexus, GitHub, CurseForge or wherever they published it. We index the ecosystem; the files stay with the people who made them.
Where does the compatibility data come from?
From the communities that maintain it in the open, not from guesswork. Each claim carries how it is known, so a reported breakage is never presented as though the author said it.
Why is a mod listed as broken when it works for me?
Compatibility depends on your exact game version and the rest of your load order. A mod marked as broken in one release may work fine on an older one, which is exactly why the version is recorded next to the claim rather than a bare yes or no.
