【架空战舰】1909年，英国建造了装备343mm口径火炮的战列舰，战列舰竞赛开始进入超无畏舰时代，但由于华夏共和国以及军事合作密切的德、奥等国大口径火炮的研发一直没有取得突破，华夏共和国第二代无畏舰热河号依然只能采用12英寸口径的火炮，不过相比辽宁级，主炮改为与奥国主力舰类似的四座三联装火炮。缺点是主炮体积过大，船体吃水深、干舷低，使得热河舰难以适应高海况和远洋作战，这也是该级舰只建造一艘的原因。
