【架空战舰】1898年革命诞生的华夏共和国外交并不顺利，与周边的俄国、旭日帝国势同水火，与英法等传统大国也有重大矛盾，此时只有德国、美国和意大利等新兴国家愿意与华夏共和国开展军事合作，1902年，华夏共和国向意大利订购了两艘装甲巡洋舰，即青州号和幽州号，该级舰是意大利为旭日帝国建造的春日级装甲巡洋舰改进型，安装了新型双联装203mm主炮，副炮并没有采用当时流行的120mm或152mm速射炮，而是应华夏共和国要求采用双联装100mm小口径速射炮。
