1910S架空浅水重炮M级，共建造15艘，作为一级设计之初便预留极大改造空间的浅水重炮，15艘里面没有一艘是重样的，而1号舰M1则是里面最特殊的存在，她的后甲板装备了一门来自纳尔逊勋爵级的次级主炮，即便简化了许多结构，但沉重的主炮依旧让整艘船重心严重后倾，最终不得不在船头的货舱内设置了更多的压舱物以平衡重心，并且使她比其他姊妹舰慢了2节（正常应为10节） 虽然这些浅水重炮都进行了不同的武备改造，但是高达16米的巨大桅杆依旧使他们极具辨识度，同时他们可以驶入河湾中配合陆军对敌军的顽固目标进行精确打击，部分船头配备货舱（比如M1）则可以携带弹药补给支援登陆部队，另外部分M级携带了可拆卸的3寸...
