IJN DD 朝日
1945年，由于战局再一度恶化迫使日本海军部急需一款新型防空驱逐舰来填补秋月级损失带来的防空空缺。舰政本部的工程师以秋月级为蓝本设计，原本该型驱逐舰设计和秋月级的最初设计一样是没有配备鱼雷发射器的计划，结果被舰政本部驳回（连鱼雷都没有的东西，还能叫驱逐舰？）在后续的方案修改中军令部考虑到驱逐舰在作战使用中的多用途性，也为了减轻财政和建造负担，顺应了先前加装鱼雷武器的要求。1945年2月该型驱逐舰计划正式定案. (建议加官方群下载mod后食用效果更佳）
