IJN Kitakami 北上

1921年制造的5千吨级球磨型轻巡洋舰，由于旧日本海军当时对美国海军进行渐减作战的构想，于1941年改造，使其成为重雷装巡洋舰，将一部分14cm单装炮和53cm鱼雷发射管变更为61cm四联装鱼雷发射管，左右两舷各5座，总计10座，一侧20个鱼雷发射管，共40个鱼雷发射管。于1945年7月24日，在吴海军工厂中遭到美军的轰炸，经过修复在战后充当运输舰，1946年10月在三菱重工长崎造船厂解体。
