RN Francesco Caracciolo (1919 Design)
弗朗切斯科·卡拉乔洛级战列舰是意大利皇家海军于1914年开工建造的超无畏舰，计划建造4艘，因第一次世界大战影响未能完工。该级舰设计装备8门阿姆斯特朗设计的381毫米/40型主炮，主装甲带厚度300毫米，设计航速28节，标准排水量31400吨。首舰于1914年在斯塔比亚海堡铺设龙骨，其余三艘1915年陆续开工，1916年因战时钢材短缺全面停工。战后意大利海军提出航母改装方案，但因预算不足放弃，最终四艘未完成舰体于1921年拆解。本舰为1919年工程重新上马时的设计方案，相比于1913年的原始设计，副炮数量有所减少，增加了水平装甲，并重新设计了上层建筑，排水量因而从30900吨提升到31400吨。
