拉齐奥号航空母舰。帝国号原本是维内托级战列舰的三号舰，帝国号作为维内托级战列舰的建造一直没有完成。但是船体已经基本完成，并且具备了动力。在战争期间意大利意识到了航母的重要性，于是为帝国设计了一些航母改造方案。该方案在Davide Jabes和Stefano Sappino的 《帝国号航空母舰——轴心国搭载V-1的主力舰》中披露，为1943年8月形成的方案，属于研究性质。该方案为最大载机量70架的大型装甲航母，具有一部弹射器和一部可升降的滑跃起飞跑道。其中一张示意图错误地把舰岛画在了左舷上。《战舰世界》为这一方案增加了博福斯120mm火炮（的意大利架空授权生产版本）与美制火控设备，上层建筑...
