含mod（qq群里面扒的） 1960年，意大利帝国终于摆脱了灾难般的“亚特兰特罗帕计划”和德国经济危机带来的影响，而“三头同盟”间关系的恶化与之一同促成了意大利海军新一轮造舰计划。首当其冲就是对于美日率先提出的“导弹驱逐舰”的构想。1962年，随着该级首舰"Impavido"的下水，意大利海军也正式迈开现代化的步伐。 随后的齐亚诺改革最终使民主重归意大利，新生的意大利帝国选择彻底放弃与德国重归于好的可能，加入美国主导的自由国家组织（OFN）。与OFN的经济合作使半死不活的意大利经济重获新生，该舰也得以迎来了她的第一次改造。
