该舰采用055型导弹驱逐舰的大致外观，并以舰炮为主对其进行了适应性修改，与此同时保留了未来游戏可能安装导弹系统的改造余地。该型舰在正常状态下最大航速能达到42节，在启用水翼抬离水面后可达到52节的最大航速，并且有42节左右的最大倒挡速度。防空系统在正确走位的情况下，能挺过10个波次的航空打击。
