- Community AnnouncementsAchievements & Workshop Location Tool Patched / FixedHello everyone! It's been a while. Today I've fixed the star achievements, and the workshop tool.Development is going to be slower than when we were in Early Access, but not completely halted.Of course we also need to make money to live and stuff, so we can't fully work on New Heights. But new locations will drop, just a much slower pace. And at least - now the full custom map creation is suppor...

- Community AnnouncementsPatch with fixes for reported issuesWe released a fixes-patch today! It covers a lot of fixes for reports from both the Discord and Steam forum. Mostly route fixes about checkpoints, star times and geometry fixes on Al Legne, Hanshelleren and Fontainebleau. For example, routes like B.I.G., Change and Ronja are now way better climbable. Happy climbing!
- Community AnnouncementsSmall UI / localization fixes patchWe fixed a few UI & localization issues with this patch. The Dyno tutorial showed the wrong buttons. The workshop menu didn't localize well for non-latin characters. And some other minor things.
- Community AnnouncementsFull Release! New Heights out of Early AccessNew Heights is now officially out of early access! It comes with a gigantic update that has cost us 19 months to develop. This update reworks the climbing system completely, optimizes a lot, includes rope based belaying and the legendary location of the Hanshelleren Cave in Flatanger, Norway. Now you can climb some of the world's most famous (and difficult) routes like Silence, B.I.G. and Chang...

Why New Heights: Realistic Climbing and Bouldering mods break
A mod is compiled against one version of a game. When the game updates, anything that reached into the parts that moved stops working, and it usually stops working silently rather than with a message that explains itself.
That is what the table above counts. It is not a guess: each row is a mod the community has reported as broken by that specific release. The number is a fair measure of how disruptive an update was, and it is the reason people delay updating a game they have modded heavily.
Common questions
Does IndexGG host New Heights: Realistic Climbing and Bouldering mods?
No, and it never will. Every download link points at the author's own page on Nexus, GitHub, CurseForge or wherever they published it. We index the ecosystem; the files stay with the people who made them.
Where does the compatibility data come from?
From the communities that maintain it in the open, not from guesswork. Each claim carries how it is known, so a reported breakage is never presented as though the author said it.
Why is a mod listed as broken when it works for me?
Compatibility depends on your exact game version and the rest of your load order. A mod marked as broken in one release may work fine on an older one, which is exactly why the version is recorded next to the claim rather than a bare yes or no.
