- Community Announcements2026.8.7.887 - Per protocol port, community fixes, Linux audio fixesHello everyone! I got another update for you! I don't like pushing them on Friday, but this one was meant to go out yesterday, but due to GitHub actions being down for over 8 hours I could not. There's a whole bunch of community contributions from @stiefeljackal, @Earthmark and @WallTack to our libraries, fixing up a number of things and doing some pre-work for more contributions! The Linux aud...
- Community Announcements2026.8.5.1169 - Fixed crashes on some systemsHotfix for Resonite not launching properly on some systems! If your system does not have dependencies for QUIC support, it will not be supported unfortunately. You can read up on what you need to do here: Fixes: - Fixed Resonite not booting on systems that are missing dependencies for the QUIC protocol (reported by @reddneko, issue #6900)
- Community Announcements2026.8.5.1103 - Experimental QUIC protocol support, fixes & tweaksHello everyone! I've got a build with you with some goodies. This introduces initial experimental support for the QUIC protocol. This can potentially perform much better than LNL and fix issues with queing, however due to complications isn't quite ready yet - you need to configure your server to allow use for WAN connections and clients need to explicitly enable it. If you'd like to use this to...

- Community Announcements2026.7.30.1121 - Efficient SignalR protocol, Elements.Core 1.0.2, Linux fixesHello everyone! This build was supposed to be released hours ago, but unfortunately GitHub has made a number of breaking changes that broke our CI/CD pipelines (with no changes on our end). However thanks to J4's valiant efforts, it finally pushed through! There's not huge changes unfortunately, however we got the first community contributions for Elements.Core in this one! Thank you everyone s...
- Community Announcements2026.7.28.1272 - Elements.Core is now open source!Hello everyone! I got an update for you! It's relatively small and mostly internal changes, but there's one (hopefully) impactful change - the Elements.Core library which contains our core datatypes is now open source under MIT license! This allows for community contributions, fixes and optimizations and possibly help with some new features. You can even use it for your own projects too and hop...

Why Resonite mods break
A mod is compiled against one version of a game. When the game updates, anything that reached into the parts that moved stops working, and it usually stops working silently rather than with a message that explains itself.
That is what the table above counts. It is not a guess: each row is a mod the community has reported as broken by that specific release. The number is a fair measure of how disruptive an update was, and it is the reason people delay updating a game they have modded heavily.
Common questions
Does IndexGG host Resonite mods?
No, and it never will. Every download link points at the author's own page on Nexus, GitHub, CurseForge or wherever they published it. We index the ecosystem; the files stay with the people who made them.
Where does the compatibility data come from?
From the communities that maintain it in the open, not from guesswork. Each claim carries how it is known, so a reported breakage is never presented as though the author said it.
Why is a mod listed as broken when it works for me?
Compatibility depends on your exact game version and the rest of your load order. A mod marked as broken in one release may work fine on an older one, which is exactly why the version is recorded next to the claim rather than a bare yes or no.
