蜀汉灭亡，野心勃勃的钟会赶走邓艾后，与姜维密谋自立。继承诸葛亮遗志的姜维看到了一丝希望，与罗宪、霍弋等蜀汉余党在白帝城（永安）响应钟会起兵，此时刘禅等其他蜀臣皆已前往洛阳。天下大势逐渐一统的情况下，钟会与姜维准备发起最后一次冲击。
