他是南斗拳法-水鸟拳的继承人，也是后来健次郎的好友，南斗六圣中的义星，为了寻找被“胸前有七个伤疤的人”掠走的妹妹而踏上了旅途。在看到健次郎胸口的七星伤疤后与之决斗，最后自己的妹妹也被南斗五车星所救，他也发现凶手另有其人。随后追踪调查，最终亲手手刃了人贩子，与自己的伴侣隐居在了村庄（此乃人中北斗线）。
