• JJust A Few Hardpoints MoreAdds and changes a few vehicle hardpoints. Not nearly as all consuming or widespread as Ribbons' specialized chassis mod, this just tweaks things and makes units a little more capable. For now. Walrus gains two external missile mounts capable of mounting any missile type. You can technically put...6.7k downloadsupdated 4 y ago
• DDifferent IslandsMod that changes how islands look. Bigger, and more differenter! With this mod enabled you ought to have a good guess at which biome an island is just from the shape of it on the map. Desert islands are mostly flat, but with very variable coastlines, and distinctive plateaus. Grasslands are large...2.9k downloadsupdated 4 y ago
• BBigger AstronomicalsMakes planets, stars and black holes BIGGER! Suns are about twice as large, planets are about three times as large as they did seem a little small, and the galactic black hole is BIG now. You'll probably want to increase both the system size and spacing a bit larger than the default, as otherwise...1.9k downloadsupdated 10 y ago
• HHiveThis lifestyle choice represents a race with a physiological caste system similar to that of terran eusocial insects - a very small subset of fertile individuals supported by vast numbers of infertile workers and warriors. Perhaps it is truly a hive-mind, one being that thinks and breaths with ea...1.2k downloadsupdated 12 y ago
• RReclusive RingworldersThis lifestyle starts on a ringworld, but cannot normally colonize planets. Instead they build huge orbital mining platforms which strip-mine entire worlds, instantly exporting any level of resource but also permanently damaging the planet. They can build additional ringworlds to expand, but must...1.2k downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• BBuilding AssortmentExtra buildings, changed buildings, get your fresh new buildings here! Contains a variety of stuff, not all of which may show up on a tooltip: *Planetary cannons are upgraded, and can be upgraded further by constructing an ammo plant. You have two options, more fleet area damage or range+single t...1.1k downloadsupdated 10 y ago
• SSubsystem Assortment(This mod will probably no longer be added to - please see the upcoming Heralds version that will support the DLC) An assortment of subsystems to provide variety and increase options. Suitable for all ages, comes in many delicious flavours. Currently contains (lots more than will display on this...1.0k downloadsupdated 10 y ago
• GGround Focussed RebalanceAn attempt to make ground combat viable, useful, fun, and even at some points necessary. HP and damage of almost everything has been reduced by 50%, making repairs faster, weapons less effective vs the carrier and subsystems, and making ground vehicles quicker to 'construct' from storage. Damage...915 downloadsupdated 17 mo ago
• GGovernmental RebalanceI felt that government choice didn't make enough impact on the game past the very beginning, so this mod is intended to rework that. All goverment types will grant a long term effect, typically making each unit of population contribute a little of some resource - it won't be a lot, but as your em...895 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
• NNo Gaps For Artificial PlanetoidsJust takes away the gaps when upgrading Artificial Planetoids. This tiny change makes it a lot easier to upgrade them.611 downloadsupdated 12 y ago
• EEconomic SanctionsHaven't you ever wanted to be the commissioner of the senate imposing crippling economic sanctions on those who flaunt the decisions of the council? Now you can! Prevaricate to delay votes More influence based shenanigans! New! More trade, so you can sanction harder! Reusable, no-bonus Rename car...565 downloadsupdated 11 y ago
• NNew Movement PhysicsThis mod increases the thrust of every engine type, but adds linear velocity drag. This makes ships accelerate a little slower than they expect (but way faster than unmodded), and slow down a little faster than that. It also means that any given ship will reach a top speed based on its thrust to...537 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
• RRemovable BuildingsChanges the current unremovable buildings so that races other than the owners can remove them - after a long and sometimes costly construction project. Also makes those buildings provide no benefit to conquerers, with a slight one-time bonus to removing them. Stalks grant a few research points as...529 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
• RRed Bridge LightsMakes the carrier bridge lights red. Made at request for Malkevin and godfather, who wanted their bridge lights to not be so white and bright. Known issues - the lights don't really look like they're on when they're on, because I flat out removed the additive light mesh instead of properly recolo...518 downloadsupdated 4 y ago
• CCheatBoost GovsAdds some government types which cheat wildly. They're named and described with how much they cheat, and in what way. If you're finding the AI too much of a pushover but don't want the Murderous ganging up on you, assign these to some Hard AIs and they should in theory be quite a lot tougher.491 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
• VVampire SpeciesA fully realized Vampire species mod with synergies for every core class, 7 species perks, a couple of general perks and consumables, and several spells and general cubes above and beyond the set of species cubes. Highlights include a customisable castle system where a single keep block will gene...483 downloadsupdated 23 mo ago
• WWizard Generates ManaThis makes the wizard generate mana equal to 0.1% of their max mana every 2 seconds. This doesn't sound like a lot, but wizard can quickly get quite a LOT of max mana, and any additional mana rapidly adds up. You can think of this, at a minimum, as "Every 20 seconds gain 1 mana" that only gets be...420 downloadsupdated 3 y ago
• BBuilding Assortment for HeraldsExtra buildings, changed buildings, get your fresh new buildings here! Contains a variety of stuff, not all of which may show up on a tooltip: *Planetary cannons are upgraded, and can be upgraded further by constructing an ammo plant. You have two options, more fleet area damage or range+single t...390 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
• FFaster TurningThis makes all ships turn 1.875x faster. That's it. Updated for version 2.0.0380 downloadsupdated 11 y ago
• MMothership Size Determines PopMakes the size of a Star Children mothership determine how much population can fit aboard. Currently this will limit them to 1 population unit per 65 size, so 15 in the starting (1k) mothership and 7 in the minimum 500 size hull. If you'd like to change this number, go poking around into the \scr...326 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
• TToxicologist-VampireA Toxicologist-Vampire synergy, for the Vampire and Toxicologist mods. Because poisoned blood is just such a popular concept.286 downloadsupdated 3 y ago
• DDevout ShrinesSome have said that the devout are weak, that they must sacrifice needlessly for no advantage. No longer! Now the prayers of the people have a tangible effect on the world - Devout ships may carry shrines that protect them against harm. Perhaps in the future, they will learn other prayers and be...266 downloadsupdated 12 y ago
• EEditor ExpansionAdds the ability to edit design_stats to the editor. Sadly, this does not work straight out of the box as a mod, so if you want to use it you will need to download it then overwrite the files it modifies directly. Please take a backup first (though it works on my machine). They're all script file...227 downloadsupdated 12 y ago
• MMore LiquidsAdds some more liquids to the game, and various blocks and perks to make use of them. Currently added: Honey - sticky, healing, related to bees. Blood - It's red, it stains stuff, people get angry after wading through it sometimes. Liquid Nitrogen - It's really cold! Liquid Mana - weird magical s...204 downloadsupdated 3 y ago
• BBarriermancerMaster of barriers, shields, and related protective magic, this is a full class for those who like to stall or just be well protected. Has a full set of standard perks with upgrades, and a few supporting cubes. Art collaboration by MrWorldthin. Tentative further plans: Ring of Bubble Shielding A...185 downloadsupdated 15 mo ago
• VVariegated AssortmentThis is a selection of cubes, events, and maybe other things I implemented, some of which I had the ideas for but most of which I did not. Most of the cubes came from the 'Cube idea collection' thread in the suggestions forum on the discord. All cubes should have flavour text crediting their auth...182 downloadsupdated 11 mo ago
• FForges ShrinkThis tiny mod just makes forges shrink back down again when you destroy one. Don't use this if you're also using my Building Assortment, because that has these changes and more, and it will conflict. (Same for other forge mods like Standard Forges as well, hopefully obvious. Pick which one you pr...175 downloadsupdated 12 y ago
• NNo Default Auto FillThis just sets Auto Fill to off by default. (It has to modify LeaderAI to do it, so sadly it's not a client only GUI mod and everyone in a multiplayer game should have it or it could cause sync errors. Maybe there's a better way, I hope there is, but this is the simple quick and easy way. Only on...143 downloadsupdated 11 y ago
• NNMP Graviton AdjustAdjusts graviton engines under the new movement physics, so that they have strongly increased acceleration and deceleration and turn rate, but also strongly increased drag (so they have a sharply limited top speed compared to others). This makes them -amazingly- maneuverable at short range, able...126 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
• TTransport Ore(Redundant - the core game now does this) This mod lets you pick up ore from planets if you have cargo transport, and drop off ore from cargo transports with no mining lasers. Mining lasers cannot pick up, but can still drop off.123 downloadsupdated 12 y ago
• CCheaper WallsThis mod makes walls that don't do a lot cheaper. Walls that were already cheap but cost at least 10 are -5 mana cost Walls that were moderately expensive (20-40ish) or do quite a lot got -10 mana cost Walls that were very expensive (40+) are usually -15 mana cost, though they might be only -10 i...104 downloadsupdated 3 y ago
• DDarloth RebalanceVarious tweaks to balance and stuff I thought should be changed that didn't seem worthy of an entire specific mod. Might be split later or added to or removed or whatever, but since it's pretty easy to upload as a mod if you like my ideas feel free to use them too. Summary: - Haunted Graveyard mo...74 downloadsupdated 11 mo ago
• OOld Style Outdated Sprite Replacement ExampleThis is outdated now! Just make a text file (for example, mod/newart.txt) with many lines saying ARTOVERRIDE: Dwarven_Warrior ARTOVERRIDE: Stone and then the game will look for (in this example) mod/Sprites/newart.png for those overriden cubes. This mod is just an example mod to show how to easil...11 downloadsupdated 3 y ago
