• VVanishing MaterialThis material is one of the first few materials developed following the discovery of quintessence, due to it's simple structure. This material is similar to Clarified Quintessence in structure, but uses vitae and mors in place of the two salt atoms. Special safety sanctions were required when thi...217 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• UUnusual Mineral - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XXVJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 1,284 after embarking Three days ago we found something, here in Atro. Here, in the heart of this dead land, there is a portion of terrain which hasn't been touched. A startling sight after the tar-covered wastelands we've been wandering through for several days, to...183 downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• SSustaining Elixir - Research into Unconventional Alchemy VIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 496 after embarking It has been some time since my last journal entry. My makeshift magnet did not work as intended. We traveled for several days before the winds dropped enough for us to see the sky and thus realize the situation, and by then we were so far off cour...179 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• SSkarn Separation - Research into Unconventional Alchemy VIIIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 565 after embarking Time seems to slow to a crawl in this place. When I first arrived here, I was preoccupied with the things in the cave. The bizarre fungus, the sustaining elixir that my host gives me, and my host himself. However, after a few weeks, these wonders...173 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• LLuminous Tattoo Ink - Research into Unconventional Alchemy IIIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 317 after embarking After making it out of the Yut Koruga jungle, my group wandered through less densely forested regions until we broke free of trees and made it into the rolling hills of the Nuro lakelands. This region has been a welcome change from the Sin Hult Mo...170 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• EExcessively Stable Compound - Research into Unconventional Alchemy IIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 272 after embarking Following my trek through the Sin Hult Mountains, I continued down to the jungle known as "Yut Koruga" in the local language. It is my understanding that this translates roughly to "Hell on Earth," and, after several weeks spent in that jungle, I...169 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• EEmberstone - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XIIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 756 after embarking I find the weather here in Takik to be fairly peculiar. Unlike the eastern side of the Ahran, which is exceedingly hot, year round, only cooling off during the night, here on the western side there is a clear change in temperature as the months pr...168 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• FForeign Jewel - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 714 after embarking All the huts in this back-alley part of Tikak seem to house families, which I find odd, as these huts don't seem large enough to house an entire family. I feel cramped even with it being only me living in my hut. Though, it seems that most people...168 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• PPartially Magnetic Fluid - Research into Unconventional Alchemy VJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 416 after embarking There has been a disaster. As we've been crossing the Ahran Desert, we have passed through several rocky regions and several sandy regions. Over the last few days, however, we have been crossing through a particularly large sandy region. We genera...167 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• PPurifying Acid - Research into Unconventional Alchemy IJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 161 after embarking After several months on a trader ship and then a few more wandering through foreign lands, I have found a first candidate for my research. There is a community living in the Sin Hult Mountains whose elders practice alchemy. It's likely that they w...166 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• GGolden Stain - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XIXJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 1,001 after embarking Up until now, I haven't known anything of the rulers of Takik. They separate themselves from the rabble of their city so completely that I haven't even known where they live. It seems they reside in palaces in the scrublands farther to the west....163 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• EExotic Fertilizer - Research into Unconventional Alchemy VIIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 510 after embarking I have spent a few days in this tunnel with my savior. I believe he might be a formally trained alchemist from my Imperial homeland. Despite the fact that he won't share any details about himself, it is clear that he understands what I am describi...163 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• MMists of Isolation - Research into Unconventional Alchemy IVJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 382 after embarking Our group spent a little over three months travelling in the Nuro Lakelands, but, to my disappointment, even with the number of tribes living in the region, we've only managed to locate the one tribe with anything which would have been of interest...163 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• VVELOCITY VECTOR MONITOR"Yes, yes, we are aware the amount of heat processors operating at those speeds would create. We have a coolant system which should be able to handle it, though. All we need you to do is ensure that the chip performs the allotted tasks in the time frames required." ". . ." "Well, actually, the ha...161 downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• BBlack Toxin - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XXJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 1,060 after embarking The river has been poisoned. It was an act of the Takik rulership. They must be madmen. They struck out against their people with hardly any provocation, and now are more willing to kill everyone in the entire city, rather than consider the idea...161 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• TToxin Removal - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XXIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 1,095 after embarking Today is the three year anniversary of the day I embarked on this expedition. In the last three years, I have seen wondrous civilizations, nearly died in a desert, met a lost alchemist from my homeland, discovered the existence of a civilization...160 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• AAmalgam Transmutation - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 681 after embarking It is understandable that my host in the cavern would not know where the traders who visit him come from, for they come from a nation that no one in the world we know of would even believe exists. Across the Ahran Desert, the expanse of sand and r...159 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• DDarklight Oil - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XXIIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 1,192 after embarking The last few months have been, thankfully, calmer than those that came before. Most of the remainder of my time spent in Takik was spent training a few citizens in novice-level alchemy, and discussing with the new leaders of Takik topics of how...158 downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• PPadding Powder - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XVIIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 968 after embarking The attempt at poisoning me which I detailed in my previous journal entry was an attack on morale. A message to the people who might be listening to me. A statement of "if a person so much as thinks about opposing us, there will be a price to pay....158 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• PParchment Precursor - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XVJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 906 after embarking Reading back, my previous journal entry seems more frantic than what I am usually comfortable with. In my defense, I had recently undergone a terrifying experience, and my mind was addled by lack of nutrition, rest, and an overabundance of rage. T...158 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• CCrystal Dust - Research into Unconventional Alchemy IXJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 622 after embarking Summer is ending soon, and with it, my time here, in this cavern. Traders will be coming, and I am to leave with them. My host says that he doesn't know which nation they hail from, but they don't speak the Imperial tongue, so I will need to commu...158 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• MMental Accelerant - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XXIIIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 1,225 after embarking A few days after we left the village I mentioned in my last journal entry, Hornon and Jaku began to urge that we leave the path of the river. We were beginning to venture into a region of swamplands which are commonly considered dangerous. Accor...157 downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• PPainful Mixture - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XVIIIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 983 after embarking I find it odd that all of the different compounds I have encountered during this expedition would come together to result in implements of war. This will be a short entry. Events are transpiring and I lack the time to give an adequately in depth d...157 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• MMindkiller - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XVIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 935 after embarking For the past months, I have been uncertain whether or not the leadership of Takik have been concerned with their populace at all, or whether they didn't concern themselves with thinking about them. A recent event has persuaded me that, perhaps, th...157 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• CCombustive Fluid - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XIVJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 862 after embarking I have decided to stay in Takik for a while longer. After you read about recent events, you might think I am mad for doing so. I have been readily using my alchemical expertise in my day to day life, but there is no truly dedicated study of alchem...157 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• MModerate Analgesic - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XIIIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 807 after embarking It seems that Takik is not a city, as I would have thought of it, but more akin to a trading hub. What I would have pointed to and called the leadership do not actually govern the city and it's people. Instead, they govern those who come here to t...157 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• PPerplexing Oil - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XXIVJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 1,260 after embarking A little over three weeks after entering the most recent entry of my journal, we reached the border of the forested nation I've learned is called "Baruu," in the native language. It was a strange shift, at the edge of those woods, as the trees j...156 downloadsupdated 8 y ago

• CCORRUPTED DISTRICT MAP (BREADCRUMB TRAIL)It's a particular kind of system we have set up. Safe houses for those who need a place to lay low for a few weeks, well stocked with food and off the grid. Pay a small premium and stay there for as long as you need. The feds don't like it, though, so it's mostly kept hush-hush. Unfortunately, th...141 downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• GGolden ThornThis compound, titled "Golden Thorn" for it's unusual molecular structure, is a highly abrasive type of sludge. It's molecular structure makes it effectively 'hook' into other materials, but the individual molecules try to stick together. So, as the majority of molecules are moved in one directio...128 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
• YYH-009 ELECTRONIC LOCK (LOCKPICKING)Security is a serious concern. Unfortunately, many security companies seem to not believe this, and produce devices with easily exploited loopholes or structural flaws, proclaiming them to be the front line in security technology. Here at YH Industries, we take this topic more seriously. We striv...118 downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• VVoltaic Dust - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XXVIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 1,291 after embarking I have been attempting to analyze the structures in the processing facilities at the heart of the villages, in this oasis. I am unsure of the exact purpose of many systems I have found, but I have been finding patterns in how the systems are lai...105 downloadsupdated 4 y ago
• GGolden Soil - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XXVIIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 1,302 after embarking I have identified a second possible purpose for the mors-oil that coats the land of Atro so ubiquitously. We traveled to a village on the edge of the oasis a few days ago, and found a garden, filled with the vitae-rich clay that gives these gard...102 downloadsupdated 4 y ago
• PPseudo-Quintessence - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XXVIIIJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 1,330 after embarking Sometimes, I find that I must remind myself that not every problem in the world is easily solved by alchemy. Surely, mastering the art grants you certain advantages that you wouldn't have otherwise had. Surely understanding the fundamental build...98 downloadsupdated 3 y ago
• NNESTED HARD DRIVE ARRAY (SECURITY KEY RECONSTRUCTION)Prior to the advent of EXA programming, there have been many exotic computer hardware and programming endeavors. Unfortunately, many of these exotic attempts were poorly thought out. Today, we look at three specific cases of some less-than-perfect experiments. First, the hardware known as the nes...89 downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• CCrystal Precursor - Research into Unconventional Alchemy XXIXJournal of Conrad Azohi - Day 1,337 after embarking Exiting Atro took less time than it did to originally find the oasis, which implies we were closer to the mountains that I knew. Only four days of traveling across oil-caked wastes, we exited the dark landscape. However, upon exiting, we were me...60 downloadsupdated 3 y ago
• DDISCOMBOBULATED COMPUTER (MEGA-MAZE)The program commonly known as "Maelstrom" is an attack program, designed to make a computer completely unusable by scrambling its address system in such a way that restoring the computer can take weeks or longer. Maelstrom is still a relatively new type of computer virus, but is quickly gaining p...54 downloadsupdated 8 y ago
• FFIDDLE MAP UTILITY (ESOTERIC METADATA FORMATS)Metadata is data which conveys information about other data. It is found everywhere, and has many uses, ranging from data organization to administration. For example, a book contains a lot of data, including metadata about itself.
