- INFORMATION AGEMake a very long chain of various metals. The basic materials are the classic ones, but the problem is to know exactly which kind of metal to put where. This information is encoded inside another very long reagent, of the same length. The number of Air atoms over each Salt atom is equal to the nu...1.8k downloadsupdated 8 y ago
- InfinifactetrisEvery world-building game needs to have a game of Tetris built. Right? Seems that no-one did so with Infinifactory. This omission is now fixed!530 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
- Game of LifeEmulator for Conway's Game of Life . Every 10x9 computer board contains a generation. It takes only 41 cycles to compute the next generation. 1. YOU MUST SET THE INPUT SPEED TO MAX. 2. Set the initial configuration by sticking platform cubes on the initial computer board, like in the screenshot....261 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
- Stamped LemmingsThe hard part is putting these stamped lemmings through the exit with the stamp facing the right direction (the lemming itself might be in any orientation; it doesn't have to be stamped on its back). There are at least two different ways to do that. Good luck!166 downloadsupdated 10 y ago

- A STUDENT'S PASTIMEAs a student of Alchemy, there are many projects of considerable size that you must undertake and many ex cathedra lectures of considerable length. One day, during a lengthy practical course, the senior assistant was -- so to speak -- "rambling on and on". You found yourself keeping busy by hidin...96 downloadsupdated 9 y ago

- INFORMATION AGE 2This is the opposite of INFORMATION AGE. Take as input a sequence of various metals, and use it to produce the right output. The number of Air atoms on top of every Salt atom is equal to zero for a Lead atom, one for a Tin atom, two for an Iron atom, and so on.83 downloadsupdated 7 y ago
- Push push pushPush pushers down the hole. No conveyors.80 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
- PROTEIN FOLDINGSequel to INFORMATION AGE. Fold the protein: atoms of Earth are where the finished product must make a turn in one direction, and atoms of Air in the other.80 downloadsupdated 8 y ago
- Communicate Outside the BoxInspired by "Drug containers - total isolation" from Michal58. The intended solution is unrelated, though, according to the author. In the present level, you must send half of the output to the exit labelled "B", while following the same rythm as the "C" output. The problem is to learn when a "C"...76 downloadsupdated 9 y ago
- SQUARE ROOTCompute square roots, rounded down.73 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
- Precious WhaleBuild a more sustainable(?) whale food processing center: from a single whale, extract as much food as possible. It is possible to package 100+ blocks of white meat, 28 blocks of red meat, and 7 spine blocks out of one whale. For this puzzle, the numbers are rounded down to the previous multiple...73 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
- SIGNAL SMOOTHERA simple way to smooth a signal is to output the mean value of the N most recent inputs. Beware of integer overflow during the computation! (Sorry, the in-game text is not very clear: you must always take the mean of the last N values, which are implicitly considered to be zero if they are before...60 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
- Failure rate 99.98%A variant of "Success rate 0.01%", building on a similar basic idea.52 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
- SQUARE ROOT (A TRIBUTE TO SHENZHEN I/O)Compute the square root, rounded down. A variant of another puzzle (so far one, but I would guess more variants will show up...) Got it in 1859 cycles.51 downloadsupdated 8 y ago
- BUGGY WIRELESS ROUTER FIXERSome wireless routers are not exactly models of stability, to say the least. Design a small device to reset yours automatically (power off, power on) if it seems to have crashed.49 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
- MC4010WRemember the MC4010, used only in the "prototyping new ideas" area? An arithmetic unit. Because of its success, or maybe despite its lack of success, we decided to design the "MC4010W". This kind of computation co-processor is a bit of a niche product nowadays, but there are always old-school big...47 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
- DIGITS VOICE RECOGNIZER (HACK BANKING PHONE CONVERSATIONS)Can you decode letter-by-letter words containing digits? My first solution requires 175 instructions. I'm unsure it can be done in maximum 100,,,43 downloadsupdated 8 y ago
- Quick fillA trivial puzzle, but a bit more complex if you try to optimize for speed as much as possible.41 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
- Tree Juicing FacilityJuice containers in 3x3 arrays flow down the "river". Make a facility that fishes for them, fills all containers, and sends them again downriver.39 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
- Failure rate 99.97%More of the same.38 downloadsupdated 10 y ago
