2000形は伊予鉄道800系(元京王2010系)を譲受した形式で、2010年より運用を開始しました。2002編成は2014年の脱線事故により運用を離脱していましたが、クラウドファンディングで費用を集め旧標準色に復刻した上で2015年より運用に復帰しました。
