函館ー札幌を山線経由で結んでいた急行ニセコの末期の編成です。 1両目：ED76-500（小樽ｰ札幌間牽引）2両目：郵便車、３・４両目：荷物車、5両目～８両目14系500番台客車（行先札幌）。おまけで9，10両目は方向幕が函館行きになっています。 なお、函館ｰ小樽の牽引はDD51重連です（A9インポート時は標準のDD51を使ってください）。 下りは 機関車＋14系客車4両程度＋荷物車×2両＋郵便車 上りは 機関車＋郵便車＋14系客車4両程度 という編成です。
