1720系-東武日光線等「けごん」「きぬ」 日光への旅客争奪戦でライバルだった国鉄への対抗策として、設計時点で日光線への投入が東武によって想定されていた151系電車に対抗するため、速度面での優位性と国際的な観光地である日光方面への外国人利用者にも対応する車両として開発された。通称はデラックスロマンスカー。 boy2817様の素体をお借りし、改良を加えてあります。 ※1 素体は先頭車が電気機関車で、中間車は通勤(非拡幅)で作成している為、幌がでません。 ※2 ドアの蝶番を再現、また4号車の向きが違っていた為修正しました。
