長野車両センターに所属している211系のうち、おもに松本以南の運用を担当する6両分割編成です。長野地区のローカル運用とかつての豊田所属115系の運用を担当しています。現在の富士急行線直通運用もこの形態です。もとは新前橋に所属し高崎線・宇都宮線を走っていた車両で、幕張所属を経て長野にやってきました。
