営団5000系は1964年から1981年に東京メトロ東西線向けに製造された車両です。全428両が製造され、後継の05系が登場するまでは日本の地下鉄車両の中で最多でした。東西線撤退後は一部の車両が千代田線北綾瀬支線にて2014年まで活躍を続けました。現在、3両が綾瀬車庫で動態保存されています。
