E259系-成田エクスプレス 空港アクセス列車である特急「成田エクスプレス」に使用されていた253系の置き換えおよび輸送力増強を目的に開発され、2009年10月1日より営業運転を開始した。「N'EX」のロゴマークについても253系から引き続き継承しており、先頭車の連結面側と正面貫通扉にデザインされた。 ※先頭車同士で連結した場合、仕様の関係で幌がでません。
