「スーパーあずさ」でおなじみのE351系です。 曲線区間の多い中央本線で高速運転を行うため制御付き自然振り子装置が導入され、 新宿～松本間最速2時間25分で運転されていました。 製造数は60両と少なかったものの、中央本線のエースとして親しまれていました。 こちらの編成は松本方先頭車の貫通扉が閉じた状態を再現しています。
