E653系1000番台(いなほ色)
2013年秋より、羽越本線の特急「いなほ」用にE653系が転用され485系の置き換えが開始されました。車体の色は日本海の夕日をイメージしたオレンジ色と波模様の塗装に変更されています。 転用にあたって耐寒・耐雪対策の改造が行われ1000番台となりました。
