A9の仕様上、旅客車ベースの機関車は貨物を牽引できないため、発想を変えて旅客車ベースのコンテナ車も作成してみました。旅客車ベースなのでかなり無理がありますがご容赦ください。見た目は貨物列車ですが、ゲーム上は旅客列車扱いになります。JRFロゴが描かれた登場当初の姿がベースで、積載しているコンテナは2000年代頃のイメージです。なお、A9本体標準の機関車でも牽引可能です。
