交直流急行型電車の475系は国鉄時代末期になると急行運用削減からローカル輸送向けに転用され、車内は一部がロングシートに変更となった。北陸地区に配置された編成は延命工事をうけつつ北陸新幹線金沢開業の2015年まで活躍した。 サハ455形を連結した6両編成の再現です。幌を出すために4両目のクモハ475形は貫通扉パーツを設置した専用品になっています。
