Official announcements, newest first. Posted on Steam.
- Community AnnouncementsProgress with LoopAccording to the new roadmap, I planned to finish the new game loop by the end of February. This, however, turned out to be a much bigger task than I had expected. Therefore, this update will be delayed a couple of weeks, but it seems fair to give you an overview of what is coming. The most important new feature is the spaceship hub. Eventually, it should become a place full of activities and u...

- Community AnnouncementsUpdate 0.5.3 GatesThe Gates update brings teleportation gates that allow you to jump to another place in the world. Also, there is a new Mesa biome with mysterious black holes. How to enter it, and what lies on the other side? This update is the first stepping stone of this year of development. It does not change the game drastically but adds a bit of extra content. The teleportation system will be expanded in t...
- Community Announcements2025 RoadmapHappy New Year! After quite a lengthy pause, I will continue working on Blastronaut through 2025. I apologise to everyone who was disappointed with the recent lack of updates, and I will try to make it up this year. Since the original roadmap ended in 2023, I have had time to analyse the current issues and develop a plan to move forward. I will present my roadmap for finishing the game and expl...

- PCORP Prototype MinigunThe researchers at PCORP have come up with a novel idea - what if we take the explosions we're all so used to, miniaturize them and contain them in small metal cases? Of course with the explosions being so small we figured every BLASTRONAUT would want to make a LOT of these explosions to compensa...205 downloads

Why BLASTRONAUT mods break
A mod is compiled against one version of a game. When the game updates, anything that reached into the parts that moved stops working, and it usually stops working silently rather than with a message that explains itself.
That is what the table above counts. It is not a guess: each row is a mod the community has reported as broken by that specific release. The number is a fair measure of how disruptive an update was, and it is the reason people delay updating a game they have modded heavily.
Common questions
Does IndexGG host BLASTRONAUT mods?
No, and it never will. Every download link points at the author's own page on Nexus, GitHub, CurseForge or wherever they published it. We index the ecosystem; the files stay with the people who made them.
Where does the compatibility data come from?
From the communities that maintain it in the open, not from guesswork. Each claim carries how it is known, so a reported breakage is never presented as though the author said it.
Why is a mod listed as broken when it works for me?
Compatibility depends on your exact game version and the rest of your load order. A mod marked as broken in one release may work fine on an older one, which is exactly why the version is recorded next to the claim rather than a bare yes or no.
