- Community AnnouncementsUpdate to 0.9.6The positioning of blocks has been improved when creating ship sprites based on the structure, and some sprites of reduced blocks have been redrawn. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34356406/55bb048642966faf37aa14e946d5073e718af8a4.jpg The system for calculating the volume of air in the holds has been changed. Now when building multiple blocks with Shift+LMB below the water level, checking for the presence o...
- Community AnnouncementsUpdate to 0.9.5The collision masks of ships have been changed once again. In the previous update the masks were calculated according to the cut at 0 height (along the spot of contact with water), which made it impossible to hit the protruding parts of the ship. The script for generating sprites of ships has also been significantly changed (this will simplify subsequent changes in sprites and masks of bot ship...
- Community AnnouncementsUpdate to 0.9.4This update is focused on fixing bugs related to the main mechanics of the game - building ships and shelling them with cannons, but some other old bugs have also been fixed. Changed the system for generating collision masks when generating ship sprites. So using the "Generate ship sprites" setting, hits on your ship will be calculated more accurately. AI ships now use pre-generated sprites and...
- Community AnnouncementsUpdate to 0.9.3Added game resolution settings. This will probably be useful on high resolution monitors. Added damage multiplier setting. With this setting, you can change the damage that projectiles can deal. So, by increasing the damage multiplier, you can make naval battles more faster, but risky. Fixed a bug that could cause the game to crash when trying to load a ship containing blocks of one of the new...
- Community AnnouncementsUpdate to 0.9.2This minor update is intended to fix the display of some game menus in 4k resolutions, as well as on monitors with low resolutions. The trading menu has been redesigned in such a way that its elements in 4k resolution was displayed within the area allocated to them. The layout of the elements of the trade, quest menu and ship's log has been changed so that the menu does not extend beyond the sc...

Why Block of Rum mods break
A mod is compiled against one version of a game. When the game updates, anything that reached into the parts that moved stops working, and it usually stops working silently rather than with a message that explains itself.
That is what the table above counts. It is not a guess: each row is a mod the community has reported as broken by that specific release. The number is a fair measure of how disruptive an update was, and it is the reason people delay updating a game they have modded heavily.
Common questions
Does IndexGG host Block of Rum mods?
No, and it never will. Every download link points at the author's own page on Nexus, GitHub, CurseForge or wherever they published it. We index the ecosystem; the files stay with the people who made them.
Where does the compatibility data come from?
From the communities that maintain it in the open, not from guesswork. Each claim carries how it is known, so a reported breakage is never presented as though the author said it.
Why is a mod listed as broken when it works for me?
Compatibility depends on your exact game version and the rest of your load order. A mod marked as broken in one release may work fine on an older one, which is exactly why the version is recorded next to the claim rather than a bare yes or no.
