Heat Map Overlays

Nine heat map overlays rendered into chart view: damage taken, losses, defence coverage, machine utilization, wasted capacity, turret ammo, accumulator charge, fluid fill and train congestion. Answers where to go next rather than what is happening. Colours are ordered by brightness, so severity reads without relying on colour vision. Collectors run only while someone is looking at a view that needs them, so an unopened overlay costs nothing.

Frequently asked

What licence is Heat Map Overlays under?

mit, as stated by the author on the platform we synced it from. Check the project's own page before redistributing or bundling it.

How do I install Heat Map Overlays?

Install the matching loader first, then put the downloaded file in your mods folder and start the game. The loader, the framework and Factorio all have to be on the same version, which is the usual reason a mod does not appear in game.

Where do I download Heat Map Overlays safely?

From the author's own page on Factorio Mod Portal, which is where the data here is synced from. IndexGG never mirrors, re-hosts or repackages a file: every download button points at the original source, so you get exactly what the author published.

Which Factorio versions does Heat Map Overlays work on?

The author has not declared a supported version in the metadata we sync, so there is nothing here we can state as fact. Check the project's own page before installing it, and treat an old framework with no declared version as untested on modern Factorio.

Last checked 1 mo ago against Factorio Mod Portal. We do not host files and we do not republish descriptions; every download link points at the author’s own release.
