Quality Asteroids Expanded
'Quality Asteroids' is a difficulty mod that gives asteroids a chance to spawn at higher qualities with increased HP. This fork buffs higher quality asteroids further: they spawn additional children when destroyed. These children are special in that they do not produce more chunks. Additionally, this mod fixes the broken space connection graphs in Factoriopedia, and makes the quality jump rates identical everywhere in space for easier compatibility.

Frequently asked
What licence is Quality Asteroids Expanded under?
mit, as stated by the author on the platform we synced it from. Check the project's own page before redistributing or bundling it.
How do I install Quality Asteroids Expanded?
Install the matching loader first, then put the downloaded file in your mods folder and start the game. The loader, the mod and Factorio all have to be on the same version, which is the usual reason a mod does not appear in game.
Where do I download Quality Asteroids Expanded safely?
From the author's own page on Factorio Mod Portal, which is where the data here is synced from. IndexGG never mirrors, re-hosts or repackages a file: every download button points at the original source, so you get exactly what the author published.
Which Factorio versions does Quality Asteroids Expanded work on?
The author has not declared a supported version in the metadata we sync, so there is nothing here we can state as fact. Check the project's own page before installing it, and treat an old mod with no declared version as untested on modern Factorio.
