A deep skill system with 8 skill trees. Earn XP from mining, crafting, fighting, researching, and building, then spend it on permanent upgrades to your character and your factory. As of 1.9.5 there are two capstone abilities. Capstone abilities will have a significant effect on game play and are high on the list for the 2.0 release. For now they are pretty mundane, head to the discussion to add your suggestions, nothing off limits!

How do I install Skill System?
Install the matching loader first, then put the downloaded file in your mods folder and start the game. The loader, the mod and Factorio all have to be on the same version, which is the usual reason a mod does not appear in game.
