Objectify

(beta) mod themed around making all entities function like 'objects' (for example, inserters can grab units and characters.) current features: + inserters can grab any unit or character and insert them into structures, move them around, or throw them into water. + units can become items, which can be placed as an ally that will fight for you. + engineers and units can be inserted into structures as fuel, units with fire resistance are less effective fuel. + almost entirely procedural and designed to support mods. ------ -didn't work on segmented units in testing, and disabled for spider units because they are too tall. -will lag with high unit amounts beware, this mod is highly lethal, inserters will not hesitate to instantly destroy you. i advise you treat inserters like you'd treat trains. if an inserter murders you, your corpse will always be present and you can reclaim your items. my first time publicly sharing a mod. mod inspired by yoink. original code, with AI used for syntax help and when i was stuck.

Frequently asked

How do I install Objectify?

Install the matching loader first, then put the downloaded file in your mods folder and start the game. The loader, the mod and Factorio all have to be on the same version, which is the usual reason a mod does not appear in game.

Where do I download Objectify safely?

From the author's own page on Factorio Mod Portal, which is where the data here is synced from. IndexGG never mirrors, re-hosts or repackages a file: every download button points at the original source, so you get exactly what the author published.

Which Factorio versions does Objectify work on?

The author has not declared a supported version in the metadata we sync, so there is nothing here we can state as fact. Check the project's own page before installing it, and treat an old mod with no declared version as untested on modern Factorio.

Last checked 1 mo ago against Factorio Mod Portal. We do not host files and we do not republish descriptions; every download link points at the author’s own release.
