- Community AnnouncementsDevBlog #109 | Foundry Fridays: Blueprint PreviewHello everyone! For today’s blog post I’m going to show you work in progress on the blueprint system that we have started working on a while ago. Please be aware that we’re overall pretty early in the development process, so everything you see is almost certainly not in its final form. Basic copy and paste (WIP) Those of you who have been using the Duplicationer mod before will see some similar...
- Community AnnouncementsDevBlog #108 | Foundry Fridays: Conveyor LiftsHello everyone! Last week I showed a preview about the way we intend to rework loaders and I’m glad that the feedback was very positive. There were a couple questions and suggestions, and we’ll refine the things a little based on that. Small Conveyor Lifts Now for today I wanted to address another age old request: Small conveyor lifts. For a very long time we have been asked to add 1x1 conveyor...
- Community AnnouncementsDevBlog #107 | Foundry Fridays: New LoadersHello everyone! Welcome back to another FOUNDRY Friday. Today we’re taking a look at a new take on loaders. One of the things we’ve been working on the past months was a re-interpretation of loaders, and while it’s still work in progress, we’re finally ready to show it. Redesign Goals Before we look at what we’ve come up with, let’s summarize the key points we were trying to achieve: Allow load...
- Community AnnouncementsDevBlog #106 | Foundry Fridays: More Work In ProgressHello everyone! In this FOUNDRY Friday I want to share various improvements of existing features that different team members have been working on. Increased Map Zoom In a previous update we already were able to improve the performance on how the map is generated, allowing us to to zoom out the map a tiny bit. But with trains and growing factories it felt like an even better overview of everythi...
- Community AnnouncementsDevBlog #105 | Foundry Fridays: Small Assembly LinesHello everyone! In today’s FOUNDRY Friday I want to share something we have been experimenting with: Small Assembly Lines. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38913947/d7090b9acc7ce66b439ef814561c711f4a85e4e3.pngWork in progress If you played the game for long enough, you have seen our Assembly Lines which are used to make the humanoid robots. Every step is visualized, and you can see the robots being manufactu...
- Community AnnouncementsDevBlog #104 | Foundry Fridays: Work in ProgressHello everyone! Last FOUNDRY Friday I asked about what you’d like to see next for the future, and the amount of responses was (pleasantly) surprising. We often get a lot of feedback in the comments or on Discord, but this time it was more than ever. Over 125 comments just on Steam (that’s over 9 pages!) and many more on other channels. It’s nice to see that there is genuine interest in the game...

Why FOUNDRY mods break
A mod is compiled against one version of a game. When the game updates, anything that reached into the parts that moved stops working, and it usually stops working silently rather than with a message that explains itself.
That is what the table above counts. It is not a guess: each row is a mod the community has reported as broken by that specific release. The number is a fair measure of how disruptive an update was, and it is the reason people delay updating a game they have modded heavily.
Common questions
Does IndexGG host FOUNDRY mods?
No, and it never will. Every download link points at the author's own page on Nexus, GitHub, CurseForge or wherever they published it. We index the ecosystem; the files stay with the people who made them.
Where does the compatibility data come from?
From the communities that maintain it in the open, not from guesswork. Each claim carries how it is known, so a reported breakage is never presented as though the author said it.
Why is a mod listed as broken when it works for me?
Compatibility depends on your exact game version and the rest of your load order. A mod marked as broken in one release may work fine on an older one, which is exactly why the version is recorded next to the claim rather than a bare yes or no.
