Mycopunk
A ragtag squad of robot rejects is hired by the SAXON corporation and given one last shot at profitable glory (and avoiding the scrap heap). They are the New Atlas Hazard Crew, a ramshackle squad of exterminators sent to uncover the mysteries behind a planet-wide fungal catastrophe.
Cut through fungal aliens in this hyper-customizable, mission based looter shooter. Hundreds of hand-crafted upgrades, 4-player co-op, and a little roach man. What’s not to love?

- Community AnnouncementsThe Roadmap to 1.013 months ago we released Mycopunk into early access… It doesn’t feel that long, at least not to us, but our little game has changed a lot since then. We overhauled the UI, added the roguelike (I won’t call it roguelite, fight me) mode Ouroboros along with the Ice Floes, made two new weapons and a sick grenade, added procedural levels, and redesigned the enemies! We’ve learned so much since rele...
- Community AnnouncementsPigeons at Devlog 7/24/26 - Grass & MoonletsGrassy GrassHello again! This week I have been working with a LOT of grass (for no particular reason), and so I thought it would be fun to go through some of the details with how we make the Myco-foliage.Much like the terrain, the grass is built with Modifier Objects. Each of these Objects has an array of Modifier layers that all stack on top of each other to create the final look. These layers a...

- Community AnnouncementsPigeons at Devlog 7/10/26Countering Projection WarpingThis little writeup is gonna be pretty technical, but I think it’s cool so too bad.Let’s say, hypothetically, New Atlas has a moon. We’ll call it a moonlet and toss it into orbit. Just one problem - perspective cameras warp geometry as it approaches the edge of the screen, and an oblong moonlet looks dumb as hell.We could make the camera 2D, but then the mission sel...

Why Mycopunk mods break
A mod is compiled against one version of a game. When the game updates, anything that reached into the parts that moved stops working, and it usually stops working silently rather than with a message that explains itself.
That is what the table above counts. It is not a guess: each row is a mod the community has reported as broken by that specific release. The number is a fair measure of how disruptive an update was, and it is the reason people delay updating a game they have modded heavily.
Common questions
Does IndexGG host Mycopunk mods?
No, and it never will. Every download link points at the author's own page on Nexus, GitHub, CurseForge or wherever they published it. We index the ecosystem; the files stay with the people who made them.
Where does the compatibility data come from?
From the communities that maintain it in the open, not from guesswork. Each claim carries how it is known, so a reported breakage is never presented as though the author said it.
Why is a mod listed as broken when it works for me?
Compatibility depends on your exact game version and the rest of your load order. A mod marked as broken in one release may work fine on an older one, which is exactly why the version is recorded next to the claim rather than a bare yes or no.
